Warranty Information
We pride ourselves on curating a range of quality products designed to last. As such, each of our garden systems come with either a 1-year, 2-year or a 3-year warranty which starts from the date you take delivery. Be sure to check the product page for the product you are interested in for precise information on the length of the warranty on offer.
Warranty Type and Coverage
The warranties we offer are limited manufacturer warranties, which cover defects, mechanical failure and hardware issues during normal, indoor use. A few examples being:

LED lighting: One or more of your system’s LED diodes stop working.

Water pump: Your pump fails despite proper care and maintenance.

Dead on arrival: Your new system isn’t switching on.

Leaks: Defects in the water reservoir or water tray causes your system to leak water.
What is Not Covered
If your system is faulty for one of the following reasons, please be aware that these issues are not covered under warranty:
Improper Maintenance
It’s important that you take good care of your system. Our microgreen gardens require virtually zero maintenance, although our hydroponic smart garden requires that you provide regular care, especially to the water pump which is a common culprit for system issues. If your water pump fails due to being clogged by plant matter or due to a mineral build-up, please be aware that these are not valid reasons for making a claim on warranty.
Accidental Damage
This could be damage caused by dropping your system, water damage to external electronics or overtightening a wing nut during assembly leading to cracks and fractures.
Outdoor Use
Our systems have been designed for use indoors only. Any damage caused due to the system being located outdoors is not covered.
Modifications and Misuse
Please note that you risk voiding your warranty if the system is modified or used in a way not intended by the manufacturer. This includes, but is not limited to:

Using a third-party power adapter and cables not supplied with the product

Modifying wiring or dismantling and tampering with electrical components

Using the system for purposes other than indoor plant cultivation
Consumables
Consumables such as grow media, nutrient bottles and seeds are excluded from each product’s warranty, which only covers the hardware.
Further Exclusions
Warranties are non-transferable and are offered only to the original purchaser with a valid order number.
How to Make a Claim
If your system is affected by any of the valid reasons mentioned above or by some other suspected manufacturing fault, please reach out to us by email at support@verdulo.com. To help us to quickly resolve your claim with our suppliers, please make sure to include:

Your Order Number

A detailed description of the fault

Photos or a short video demonstration (under 20MB) of the issue.
What Happens Once you Submit your Claim
Once we receive your evidence, we will work with the manufacturer to carefully review your claim. Depending on the nature of the issue, we shall do one of the following:

Provide Technical Support: If your issue looks like it can be fixed on your end, we’ll guide you through the process.

Send out Replacement Parts: If your LED panel is dodgy but the garden is otherwise OK, we’ll ship out a replacement component for you.

Full Replacement: If the entire system is beyond repair and replacement parts won't resolve the issue, we’ll replace it.
Your Statutory Rights
This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
